The State Board of Equalization has approved the Public Necessity Rules for the Property Tax Freeze Program. The rules became effective on August 29, 2007, and are effective through February 10, 2008. The State Board of Equalization will hold a hearing to consider Permanent Rules for the Property Tax Freeze Program on the 17th day of September, 2007. The previous notice contained an error. The hearing will be in the 2nd floor conference room at 1321 Mufreesboro Road rather than 321 Murfreesboro Road.
